Punjab Kings
Punjab Kings is an Indian Premier League cricket team based out of Mullanpur, Mohali in Punjab India and jointly owned by Mohit Burman, Ness Wadia and Preity Zinta. Their home ground for matches is at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh Internationa Cricket Stadium located nearby.
Sanjay Bangar manages the team. In 2014, they reached the final of the Champions League T20 tournament but lost to Kolkata Knight Riders after an exciting last-over finish. However, during 2015’s edition they made an excellent start by finishing first in their group stage with 11 wins and reaching the semifinals – with David Miller and Virender Sehwag becoming key batsmen for them with bat and ball respectively.
Avesh attempts a risky single and manages to hit it to the boundary. Curran comes onto strike next and promptly makes two runs-a-ball by hitting one into a gap for two more runs scored off that pitch.
