Uruguay National Football Team Vs Bolivia National Football Team Lineups

Uruguay routed tournament minnow Bolivia 5-0 in New Jersey to make significant headway towards qualifying for the knockout stage. Facundo Pellistri from Manchester United opened scoring, before Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez notched 10th goal from nine international appearances.

Rodrigo Bentancur and Federico Valverde also scored goals for Los Charruas.

Uruguay

Uruguay will aim to secure their second win from two matches when they take on Bolivia in matchday 2 Copa America action. They opened with an impressive victory against Panama thanks to goals scored by Matias Vina, Ronald Araujo and Darwin Nunez; Vina has been in fine form with Liverpool FC while scoring against teams that struggle with scoring this tournament. Vina may prove crucial against Bolivia who have struggled for goals this tournament.

Rodrigo Bentancur and Sebastian Caceres will look to continue their stellar play after coming off the bench last week against Peru. Jose Maria Gimenez and Giorgian De Arrascaeta may start at centre-back for Bolivia despite sitting bottom of their group; should either team win they could advance.

Goalkeeper: Guillermo Viscarra

Uruguay will look to continue their unbeaten start at the Copa America by defeating Bolivia. Uruguay are currently ranked fourth globally and under Marcelo Bielsa have shown plenty of promise, so they should easily defeat Bolivia by an impressive margin.

Bolivia have lost all three Copa America warm-up matches played in the US and have struggled to score goals against Mexico, Ecuador and Colombia. Their Light Blues will need plenty of goals from their roster – particularly up front where Carmelo Algaranaz and Bruno Miranda may start but only possess four international goals between them – plus they face discipline issues with Jesus Sagredo, Luis Haquin and Leonel Justiniano receiving yellow cards against USA in their opening match.

Midfielders: Federico Valverde

Uruguay and Bolivia will meet for Group C Copa America action Thursday evening at MetLife Stadium. Marcelo Bielsa’s side are fresh off a 3-1 victory against Panama; victory over Bolivia would put them firmly in first place with one game to spare.

Valverde, 20, is an attacking midfielder for both Real Madrid and Uruguay’s national team, known for his speed, work rate, and stamina. Starting his youth career at Union Montevideo before being identified by Penarol’s scouts.

Valverde experienced some discomfort in training on Wednesday, but should be fit enough to start against Bolivia on Saturday. He will be joined in his starting lineup by Ronald Araujo, Matias Vina and Darwin Nunez.

Forwards: Maximiliano Araujo

Uruguay have a much better chance to defeat Bolivia than ever, who are yet to earn any points in this Copa America tournament. They will come out fighting and expect a win as they attempt to claim their second triumphant triumphant in this tournament.

Maximiliano Araujo has been impressive so far for Uruguay, playing an instrumental part in their attack. He assisted in setting up Uruguay’s opening goal against Panama. Now playing for Liverpool FC he will hope to add to his goal total against Bolivia.

Ronald Araujo was replaced at half-time for Jose Gimenez against Panama in their opening match but Barcelona have confirmed it was due to dehydration.

Defenders: Rodrigo Bentancur

Uruguay will look to build on their impressive 3-0 win against Panama when they meet Bolivia at MetLife Stadium on Thursday for matchday two of Copa America. Marcelo Bielsa’s side were aggressive from the outset in their opening matchup against Panama, taking 11 shots in their first 20 minutes alone.

Federico Valverde will play an instrumental role for South American giants Ataquebillo who remain undefeated at this tournament. Flamengo CAM scored 13 goals during EPL season while providing six assists – this success bodes well for South American giants Ataquebillo in this tournament!

Bolivia are looking to earn points and avoid their fourth consecutive loss in Group Stage action. La Celeste are one of the favorites in this group and require a positive result between Panama and USA in order to guarantee themselves a quarter-final berth.

Subs: Facundo Pellistri

Marcelo Bielsa’s squad features players competing in some of the premier leagues worldwide – such as La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1 and Premier League.

Bolivia, on the other hand, are having trouble competing at this level of play. They were defeated by United States in their opening match and must defeat Uruguay to avoid elimination from this tournament.

South America showed their dominance against Panama with goals from Ronald Araujo and Darwin Nunez. While they may start the same starting lineup again here, that doesn’t make them easy opponents to beat; Tyler Adams will need to perform at his best when faced with Fede Valverde or Manuel Ugarte on both wings, while Christian Pulisic poses a threat on both flanks.

Goal: Darwin Nunez

Uruguay was victorious in their opening match of Copa America 2024 against Panama and will look to continue that run on Thursday against Bolivia at MetLife Stadium in Group C. Marcelo Bielsa is likely to employ a similar lineup that saw Matias Vina and Maximiliano Araujo score for La Celeste; Ronald Araujo was replaced at halftime against USA due to dehydration but is expected to play against Bolivia.

Darwin Nunez of Liverpool also made an impressive goal scoring debut in Uruguay and continues his impressive form for Almeria FC during their 2019-2 campaign, being an ever-present starter at Spanish second division side Almeria and scoring regularly throughout that first season as regular starter. Nunez looks poised for great things as his future is bright.
